University Grants Commission under its "Faculty Recharge Programme” is in the process of receiving applications from Academicians in the field of Basic Sciences, viz., Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering and Earth Sciences  to augment the faculty resources in the Indian Universities.

Central University of Tamil Nadu has entered into an MOU with University Grants Commission to be a part of the Faculty Recharge Programme.
